Ingredients

  • 400 grams of beef, cut against the grain to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 15 medium shallots
  • 3 red chilies
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Spring onions to taste
  • Shrimp paste powder to taste

Marinade

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mushroom stock
  • 1/2 tablespoon pepper powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Water to taste

Cooking the meat

  • Pour the marinade over the beef, stir well, add a little cornstarch, stir, and fry until cooked through. Drain.

Stir-fry

  • Thinly slice the garlic
  • Slice the red chilies
  • Sauté everything
  • Add the shrimp paste powder
  • Add the coriander powder
  • Add the mushroom stock
  • Add the beef and cook until cooked through
  • Ready to serve
